Intervention at the Stakeholder Consultation for the Global Dialogue on AI Governance
At a pivotal moment in the shaping of global technological standards, Derechos Digitales is actively participating in the Stakeholder Consultation of the United Nations Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Governance. This process, established by the General Assembly through Resolution 79/325, aims to facilitate inclusive and transparent discussions on international cooperation in the field of AI.
During the virtual consultation held on 18 March, Paloma Lara-Castro, Director of Policy at Derechos Digitales, emphasised that any governance framework must be strictly grounded in international human rights law.
