Illegal trade in personal data on Telegram: Derechos Digitales in El País
A new report by Derechos Digitales has documented the existence of an illegal market for personal data operating on Telegram, which appears to have links to state agencies in Latin America. Following this report, Catalina Oquendo interviewed our Director of Policy, Paloma Lara-Castro, and published an article in the ‘LIDERESAS de Latinoamérica’ section of the newspaper El País.
