Contribution to ITU’s CWG-Internet open consultation about meaningful connectivity in landlocked developing countries

Within ITU’s Council Working Group on International Internet-related public policy issues (CWG-Internet) open consultation process, we submit, along with TEDIC, this contribution on meaningful connectivity in landlocked developing countries. In the Americas, only two countries meet this categorization: Bolivia and Paraguay. In this document, we argue that meaningful connectivity enables the exercise of human rights, and we offer a contextual analysis evaluating the challenges and strategies for advancing towards meaningful connectivity in Bolivia and Paraguay from a human rights and intersectional perspective.
