20 years defending digital rights in Latin
America
At Derechos Digitales, we have worked for the past 20 years to defend, promote, and strengthen human rights in digital environments across Latin America. Through research, information dissemination, and public policy advocacy, we aim to generate changes that ensure respect and dignity for all people in the digital environment. Our team comprises specialists in technology, social sciences, law, and communication from over 10 countries in the region. Together, we face digital challenges with a collaborative and strategic approach, reaffirming our commitment to our mission.
Our mission is to defend, promote, and develop human rights in the digital environment in Latin America through research, information dissemination, and advocacy in public policy and private practice, fostering social change grounded in respect for the rights and dignity of individuals.
Our vision is to contribute to a more just, inclusive, and equitable Latin American society in which we participate, directly and in coordination with other organizations, in defending human rights in digital environments so that technologies serve the comprehensive development of people.
