Claudio Ruiz Gallardo, President

Claudio joined NGO Derechos Digitaless in the second half of 2004 and today is President of the Corporation. He studied at the School of Law, University of Chile, where he was assistant professor of Constitutional Law and Freedom of Expression course: Legal and ethical dilemmas in comparative view. It was part of the academic staff of the General Education Course Towards a Constitution for Equality in Chile, offered at the same universityHe has been assistant professor of the chair Theory of the Constitution and Fundamental Rights at the Faculty of Law at the Universidad Nacional Andrés Bello. He writes regular columns for national and foreign media.’s Public leader of Creative Commons in Chile.

Alberto Cerda Silva
, Director

Alberto is a founding member of NGO Derechos Digitaless and is responsible for studies. Lawyer and Master in Public Law. Is Assistant Professor of Computer Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Chile. He also teaches undergraduate and graduate School of Arts and Economics from the University. He has advised various government agencies on topics such as data protection, free software and open source, computer crime and intellectual property. It is also legal leader of Creative Commons in Chile.

Francisco Vera Hott, Director

Francisco is part of NGO Derechos Digitales since 2008, having been an intern in the same organization in 2004 and 2005.  He studied at the School of Law, University of Chile, where he was assistant courses and Procedural Law, Economic Law and International Economic Law, taught at the school. He has specialized primarily in criminal law, economic and intellectual property perspective from which the NGO works with Digital Rights, especially in monitoring and advisory work legislation.

Francisco wrote on his blog, called Mas de lo mismo, also maintains a tumblr and twitter account.

Jose Ignacio Garcia Bustos, Researcher

A graduate of Bachelor of Law and Social Sciences at the University of Chile, he worked as a researcher at the NGO Derechos Digitales since 2007.

Constanza Alvarez, Executive Secretary

Undergraduate Student Legal and Social Sciences at the University of Chile, serves as secretary of the NGO Digital Rights since the second half of 2008.
