Seminar A2K
What happens in Chile and Latin America with respect to the regulation of intellectual property rights and its impact on culture and knowledge? The copyright very restrictive, do we move away from economic development and cultural heritage? Those were some of the central questions that set out to answer the Seminar on Access to Culture and Copyright, open for all public and organized by the NGO Derechos Digitales in april 2008.
The papers of various national and foreign guests (which dealt with economic issues, legislative and educational measures, among others) and full coverage of the two days of activities, can be found freely available on the website of the event. Furthermore, it had audio recordings of the six round tables made, which you can download and listen to free thanks to Podcaster.cl
Otherwise, all efforts were crowned with the publication of the book “Access to Culture and Copyright”, published by our organization, which compiles the papers presented by the speakers at the seminar.
