Free culture

If you are interested in cultural movements as free software, the open source, licensing Creative Commons, or simply think that intellectual property is sometimes so restrictive that it impedes the Access to Knowledge (A2K) and the culture of the people, surely you want to read a founding text of all these movements. It’s “Free Culture: How Big Media Uses Technology and the Law to Lock Down Culture and Control Creativity” written by the founder of Creative Commons, the U.S. lawyer Lawrence Lessig.

NGO Derechos Digitales was asked to translate this book to Chile, and through a partnership with the LOM editorial, published with a Creative Commons license that allows free movement. Also, the PDF version is available for legal downloading enabled web page.
